What is Project-based Mathematics?

An approach to enhance the conceptual understanding of math at the elementary and junior-high level through the use of relevant and hands-on projects and activities.

Example:  Seventh-grade students at Kenmore junior
high school work with Lego robots to learn about graphs and linear relationships.
